Good Morning! Today I wanted to talk about my favorite running shoes (well, actually I use them for walking!). I have worn Nike shoes for YEARS and at the beginning of the year I started having knee pain while I was on my walks. I did a little research and realized I probably should be replacing my shoes more often than I do (walking 3-4 miles every day adds up!). I was planning on getting another pair of Nike, but then I kept reading reviews about comfortable New Balance shoes were and I’ve never worn their shoes so I decided to take the plunge and try them. WOW! I wish I would have tried them years ago. They have a lot of running shoes to choose from so it took me a little bit to decide which I liked best. I went with the Fresh Foam Beacon v3. Aren’t they just adorable!
I just think these shoes are so cute and the level of comfort my feet feel in them is amazing! The first thing I noticed about these shoes is that the are so lightweight! Another thing I loved is how comfortable they were right out of the box. These shoes feel great on my feet and my knee pain has greatly improved too. (I think the pain in my knee could have been in part to my shoes being old very low on cushion 🤪). I definitely understand why so many people had so many great things to say about New Balance shoes. I saw a really cute pair of “lifestyle” shoes I’ll be purchasing in the very near future…I’ll let you know what I think of those once I get them.
Ok, that’s my favorite running shoe…whats yours? Let me know in the comments. Have a wonderful weekend!
Hi. I hope you all had a nice week. We have a busy weekend here with a field hockey tournament for my daughter and the weather isn’t looking great so I’ll be pulling out my rain coat & boots! Speaking of, I need a new rain coat. If you have one you love please share in the comments below.
Ok, now on to my favorite hair oil. I have tried many hair oils, but so many of them feel heavy in my fine hair that my hair starts to feel greasy half way through the day. That was until I tried Olaplex No. 7 Bonding Oil. It is a concentrated oil that helps control frizz, increases shine, strengthens and provides UV/heat protection.
It only takes a small amount since the oil is concentrated and it can be used on wet or dry hair. I have been using this on my hair every night (from about my ears & down-not at my roots) and I can honestly say I have noticed my hair looks healthier.
Ok, I’m off to get ready for my daughters game, I hope you all have a great weekend!
Good Afternoon! Early this year I became a Beautycounter consultant so I’m excited that I get to share new product launches with you. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Beautycounter it is a clean makeup and skincare brand and their products are free of over 1,500 questionable ingredients. I feel better knowing my daughters can try a variety of skincare and makeup products and they will all be safe and clean. I also have had a love for skincare and makeup since a young age and the products that I have tried from Beautycounter I really liked and wanted to try more so I took the plunge! I’ll be the first to admit I don’t use only Beautycounter. I like to compare Beautycounter to other clean beauty brands and I also use brands that aren’t “clean beauty”. I’ll share things that I like from brands across the board (and even thing I don’t like)!
Today I wanted to share a new primer that was just released TODAY from Beautycounter!
I’m so excited for this new product to launch…Beautycounter’s first primer! What I think is so great about this is that it is a serum AND a primer in one. One reason I love to wear a primer is to help my foundation wear longer. This primer hydrates the skin with encapsulated jojoba beads to help plump and hydrate the skin and leaves the skin with a nice glow. This primer has a lightweight, serum texture when you apply it to the skin which I prefer. Please let me know if you have any questions or if your interested in purchasing anything from Beautycounter click here.
Hi! I hope you’ve had a good week. I thought it would be fun to start a “Beth’s Friday Favorites” (BFF) series and share some of my personal favorite things that I love. Each Friday I will pick a different topic and share a few of my top picks. I hope you all join in too and let me know your favorites in the comments so I can check them out! Okay, so lets start this off with my favorite jeans. I live in the Midwest so we experience super hot days and super cold days. That being said I wear jeans year long. I have tried a lot of different brands of jeans and I always come back to Kut from the Kloth jeans. They have so many different styles and washes that I can always find a pair that I love. And I almost forgot to mention…all of the styles below are under $100!!! Here are 3 of my favorite styles that I wear all the time.
Hi! I’m so happy you are here with me as I write my very first Daily Beth blog post!
First, a little bit about me…I’m a 40-something wife, mom of two teen daughters and 2 labradors. I live in the Midwest and have been lucky enough to have spent the last 16 years being a full time mom to my girls. Now that they are both in high school I found myself wanting to do something for myself…and so Daily Beth was created! I love to share things with others that I like or I think others will like. One day I might be talking about my favorite recipe for Fall and the next I’ll share my favorite lipgloss. I’m planning on have a few blog post a week to start and hopeful that you all enjoy reading as much as I enjoy writing posts! I hope you find this blog fun and helpful and at the same time!
