I was browsing on Sephora’s website the other day and since so many things caught my eye I thought I’d share a few of them with you.
I’ve never tried any of the Sephora brand lip products, but this nude shade is just SO pretty I couldn’t resist falling in love with it.
I bought the Two Faced Peach Sweet Peach Palette the other day (swatches coming soon!) and I wanted to get this too, but it was sold out by the time I got online. The blush and bronzer shades in this palette look absolutely beautiful.
Sometimes when I look at sampler kits not everything really grabs my attention, but not with this one! All 7 items in this kit I would really like to try…especially the Bobbi Brown Retouching Face Pencil in Illuminate!
This shade of pale pink is a color I’ve been looking for. I haven’t tried anything from Bite Beauty before, but the reviews seem pretty good so I’ll have to see what else they have to offer and they have a ton of shades too.
I have (and really like) a few makeup products from It Cosmetics, but I haven’t tried any of their skin care items yet. This eye cream helps with puffiness, brightening and fine lines…um YES please!!
Ok, so there are a few items that caught my attention at Sephora. What have you bought or wished for recently at Sephora?
Here is Part 2 of my “Flawless Face” post that I posted yesterday. Today I’m going to talk about IT Cosmetics YSBB™ Your Skin But Better™ CC Cream with SPF 50+
On their website they write:

• Anti-Aging Hydrating Serum ( 50+ Hydrating Anti-Aging Peptides, Essential Lipid-Rich Oils, Vitamins, Extracts & Soothing Botanicals)
• SPF 50+ UVA/UVB Physical Only Broad Spectrum Sunscreen
I watched the presented of this on QVC a lot before I decided to finally give it a try. The first few times I applied it I used way too much! This CC cream is thicker than I thought it would be so less is definitely more! I have tried using my fingers, but I think it goes on best with a flat foundation brush (the one pictured above from IT Cosmetics, but I believe it was part of a brush kit that was exclusive to QVC). I like that this comes in a plastic pump container and seriously 1 pump was enough for my entire face. A flat foundation brush helps blend this out on my face and it doesn’t leave me looking streaky. This is the only CC cream I have tried so I can’t compare it to others, but I find it to have buildable coverage and I really like that it has such a high SPF (50) and that it has anti-aging benefits too. One thing that I don’t like is that it isn’t long-wearing. Within 4-5 hours I start to notice oily areas on my face, but after I use a blotting sheet I dust on some loose powder and it helps keep me matte. Have you tried this CC cream? What do you think of it?
Enjoy your day!
I have a love hate relationship with blush. I have fair skin and I’m always worried about blush being to dark on me and looking ridiculous and then when I find a shade I like (usually a pale true pink) I put it on in the morning and love the way it looks, but by noon I don’t see it anymore. I heard about Vitality Cheek Stain from IT Cosmetics and it really caught my attention. Their website says
“Powder blush, cheek stain, antioxidant defense, and hydrating skin conditioner all in one! The cutting-edge micro-milled, long-wear powder stain never clings to fine lines and wrinkles. Gives you that glow of a stain in a powder.”
Ok that sounds great to me! They have 4 colors to choose from. I went with Pretty in Peony which looks like a pinkish/peach.
I’ve been using this for a while now and I really like the way it wears on my skin. It blends very easily and looks natural. On my skin it shows up slightly more pink than peach. (It doesn’t last as long as a cream blush does, but those break me out so I can’t use them) I’ve been really happy with this blush and I think I might have to pick one up that has more of a peachy tone too! Have you tried this blush? If so I’d like to hear what you think.
Have a wonderful Saturday!
First let’s start with the name…get ready cause it’s long…IT Cosmetics Tightline™ Full Lash Length Black Mascara Primer. I really like the idea of this product…it’s your eyeliner, black mascara primer and mascara in one (according to the website). Sounded like a great product that would save me some time in the morning. The brush is an ultra slim brush w/ tiny bristles. It took me a try or two to apply this correctly. The website says “Starting at the root of your lashes, hold the Tightline™ Slim Wand horizontally, then wiggle and sweep the brush up and through your lashes from the very base through to the tips”. I tried this and never really got the “tightline” eyeliner look like they say you can achieve with this. I have extremely short lashes and I applied two coats. It didn’t give me the volume and length that I can get from other mascaras and primers that I have tried (bummer). I have tried and tried, but this is not a 3-in-1 products for me. Does this work as an eyeliner-no, as a primer-no, as a mascara-sorta…for a natural look.
Will I repurchase? No
IT Cosmetics Tightline Full Lash Length Black Mascara Primer
Hi ladies! I’m really excited that IT Cosmetics is going to have a TSV (Today Special Value) on QVC today (March 10th). I have tried a few items from IT Cosmetics. I bought Bye Bye Pores Antiaging HD Micro-Finishing Powder and also their Vitality Cheek Flush Powder Blush Stain (it came with the softest, prettiest brush too…review to come soon). I have been happy with both products. I’ve heard how good their Anti-Aging Full Coverage Physical SPF 50 CC Cream was , but I haven’t ever tried it. Honestly I’ve steered away from it because I have oily skin and many of the reviews I saw mentioned that it didn’t have a matte finish. I like a matte finish so that’s why I never tried it…but then I heard about the TSV and I couldn’t pass it up! I love that it has an SPF of 50 so my thoughts are that maybe I’ll apply my Bye Bye Pores Antiaging HD Micro-Finishing Powder over it and it will work for me! (Fingers crossed!!!) Here is what is included in the TSV:
2.53-fl oz Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream SPF 50+ (5 shade options)
0.118-oz Tightline Waterproof Mascara
0.11-oz CC+ Lip Serum Hydrating Anti-Aging Color Correcting Creme
Heavenly Luxe(TM) Plush Paddle Foundation Brush
The price of this kit is $59.98 + s&h. I thought it seemed like a good price and I’m excited to try all of the products in it and can’t wait to feel the foundation brush (the blush brush I have is so crazy soft!). I think this is a good way to try new products from a makeup line that I’ve been happy with. If anyone is interested be sure to grab it today while the price is still the same as listed above. I’m excited to get this kit and see how I like it. Are any of you trying it too? I’ll post a picture below also so you can see what it looks like. With that being said…I’m assuming you all know what I’ll be doing today…watching IT Cosmetics on QVC!! Have a great day!
