Beth’s Friday Favorite-Running Shoe

Good Morning! Today I wanted to talk about my favorite running shoes (well, actually I use them for walking!). I have worn Nike shoes for YEARS and at the beginning of the year I started having knee pain while I was on my walks. I did a little research and realized I probably should be replacing my shoes more often than I do (walking 3-4 miles every day adds up!). I was planning on getting another pair of Nike, but then I kept reading reviews about comfortable New Balance shoes were and I’ve never worn their shoes so I decided to take the plunge and try them. WOW! I wish I would have tried them years ago. They have a lot of running shoes to choose from so it took me a little bit to decide which I liked best. I went with the Fresh Foam Beacon v3. Aren’t they just adorable!

I just think these shoes are so cute and the level of comfort my feet feel in them is amazing! The first thing I noticed about these shoes is that the are so lightweight! Another thing I loved is how comfortable they were right out of the box. These shoes feel great on my feet and my knee pain has greatly improved too. (I think the pain in my knee could have been in part to my shoes being old very low on cushion 🤪). I definitely understand why so many people had so many great things to say about New Balance shoes. I saw a really cute pair of “lifestyle” shoes I’ll be purchasing in the very near future…I’ll let you know what I think of those once I get them.

Ok, that’s my favorite running shoe…whats yours? Let me know in the comments. Have a wonderful weekend!

Beth’s Friday Favorite- Hair Oil

Hi. I hope you all had a nice week. We have a busy weekend here with a field hockey tournament for my daughter and the weather isn’t looking great so I’ll be pulling out my rain coat & boots! Speaking of, I need a new rain coat. If you have one you love please share in the comments below.

Ok, now on to my favorite hair oil. I have tried many hair oils, but so many of them feel heavy in my fine hair that my hair starts to feel greasy half way through the day. That was until I tried Olaplex No. 7 Bonding Oil. It is a concentrated oil that helps control frizz, increases shine, strengthens and provides UV/heat protection.

It only takes a small amount since the oil is concentrated and it can be used on wet or dry hair. I have been using this on my hair every night (from about my ears & down-not at my roots) and I can honestly say I have noticed my hair looks healthier.

Ok, I’m off to get ready for my daughters game, I hope you all have a great weekend!

Beth’s Friday Favorite -Jeans

Hi! I hope you’ve had a good week. I thought it would be fun to start a “Beth’s Friday Favorites” (BFF) series and share some of my personal favorite things that I love. Each Friday I will pick a different topic and share a few of my top picks. I hope you all join in too and let me know your favorites in the comments so I can check them out! Okay, so lets start this off with my favorite jeans. I live in the Midwest so we experience super hot days and super cold days. That being said I wear jeans year long. I have tried a lot of different brands of jeans and I always come back to Kut from the Kloth jeans. They have so many different styles and washes that I can always find a pair that I love. And I almost forgot to mention…all of the styles below are under $100!!! Here are 3 of my favorite styles that I wear all the time.

Donna Curved Hem Ankle Skinny These dark wash skinny jeans have fun curved, frayed hem to give them a slight edgy look.

Reese Raw Edge Hem Ankle Length These are the perfect casual jean in a lighter wash with slight distressing and raw hem.

Donna Ankle Skinny These are a perfect, classic skinny jean with a bit of stretch that hug my curves perfectly.

As you can probably notice I usually gravitate towards darker denim, but in the warmer months I prefer a lighter wash. What are your favorite jeans? Share your favorites in the comments!
