BareMinerals “Pretty Amazing” lip color review

I was going through my lipsticks the other day and came across one from bareMinerals called “Pretty Amazing” lip color in the shade “panache”. I decided to wear it for the day to see what I thought of it. Here I am getting ready to head out for the day…

I liked how glossy it looked, but I wasn’t crazy about the color on my lips…it looked better in the tube (don’t you hate when that happens!).

Ok so the picture above doesn’t really show that much of the color (oops, sorry) so you’ll have to take my word for it! In the tube it looked like a deeper wine color, but when I applied it I felt like the color looked much lighter on my lips. I wanted to get more info on this lip color so I went to bareMinerals.com and here is what they say:

Pretty Amazing lip color cocoons your lips in opaque high-impact lip color. The cushiony texture, insatiable shine and seriously polished appearance will propel you into an elevated state of gorgeousness. High-impact color & insatiable shine, luxe creamy texture for a luscious glaze &  precision applicator sculpts & accentuates every curve of lips

I agree that it does have a nice shine & the applicator is great too.  While I was on the website, I didn’t see the color that I’m wearing above, but I did see some other pretty colors like this one…

And this one too…

Moxie

I thought the top color was such a pretty deep milky pink (they website described it as a rosy mauve) and the bottom color is such a great light pink with a hint of coral (the website describes it as a coral pink)  and what made it better was that they are on  sale for $9.50 (regularly $16.00)! Actually ALL of their Pretty Amazing lip colors are discounted so I’m not sure if they are being discontinued or not so if your interested you might want to head over & check them out sooner rather than later!

Have you tried this lip color yet?  If so what is your favorite shade?
