I don’t know about you, but when the temperature starts to rise my appetite seems to not be as big. I think a combination of the heat and a busy schedule it probably to blame for this! I really love fruits and veggies and I’m glad my kids do too. I try to make sure they have a good mix of fruits and vegetables every day and some days it just doesn’t happen. I started getting a vegetable tray from my grocery story and my hubby & kids all dive in to it whenever it’s out. I think having it ready to eat and sitting right there is a great way to sneak in some healthy snacks for them to eat (much better than chips!). I also have tried to cut up some fresh fruit and have it ready to eat. I know you have heard everything I’m writing about many times before, but sometimes the easiest things we can do to eat healthy slip our mind. Just a little tip that helps everyone not only eat healthy, but also something quick and tasty to that doesn’t require turning on the oven!
